What is a mag switch?

Mag Switch is a Magnetically held toggle, ie if you do a cold and dark start, you will note the APU turns its self off after NO.2 Engine has been operation and the Generators on for a Period, as with the Launch Bar, it will reset after the carrier launch.

Current F18 MAG Switches (you can use the above on is 5)

APU (Can used the above)

ENG CRANK (Can’t use above (WIP))

FUEL DUMP (Can used the above)

LAUNCH BAR (Can used the above) – I need to check, but cadded ok

HOOK BYPASS (Can used the above) – I need to check, but cadded ok

PITOT (Can’t use above, no alternate solution I know off other than OEM)
